Baseball Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

The Greenwood Blue Jays might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-1 to the Billings Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Blue Jays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Billings, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Greenwood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 17-7 win against Hurley on the 9th. As for Billings, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Pleasant Hope at 4:30 p.m. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.33 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
