Baseball Recap: Enumclaw Makes It 13 in a Row on the Road

Enumclaw faced Union in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Enumclaw had just enough and edged out Union 1-0. The win was just business as usual for the Hornets, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

Enumclaw got a great performance from Oliver Potts as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Potts has posted since back in April of 2024.

Enumclaw pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Union, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Enumclaw wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 6-2 victory against Auburn Mountainview on the 24th. As for Union, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Kennedy Catholic on the 22nd.
