Basketball Recap: Radford Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Radford and James River squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Radford had to settle for second. They fell just short of the James River Knights by a score of 62-59. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 59-48.

Radford now has a losing record of 11-12. As for James River, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Radford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for James River, they will challenge Chatham on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Chatham sitting on seven straight victories and James River on five.
