Dexter and Saline are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Dexter Dreadnaughts will take on the Saline Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Dexter beats Saline with 57 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Dexter took their contest on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 57-30 win over Skyline. The Dreadnaughts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Saline waltzed into their game on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 44-37. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Pioneers are ranked 219th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dexter is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.8 points. Saline pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Dexter strolled past Saline in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 51-32. Does Dexter have another victory up their sleeve, or will Saline turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
