Basketball Recap: Tioga Takes a Loss

Tioga lost against Ray back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tioga Pirates took a 63-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ray Ray Jays.

Tioga's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Ray, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Tioga will face off against Parshall/North Shore at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Tioga's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 13 matches. Ray has already played their next contest (against Velva), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
