Fairlawn is a perfect 4-0 against Ansonia since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fairlawn's tournament run continued when they took on Newton Local on Tuesday. The Jets walked away with a 3-1 win over the Indians. The victory continues a trend for the Jets in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won six in a row.

While Fairlawn might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Newton Local scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 20-25, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Ansonia hadn't done well against Tri-Village recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Tigers blew past the Patriots 3-0. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Patriots on their court since August 26, 2023.

Fairlawn's record now sits at 8-15. As for Ansonia, their record is now 13-10.

Fairlawn beat Ansonia 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. Do the Jets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
