Football Recap: West Carroll Thunder vs. Flanagan/Woodland Falcons        
        
		
             West Carroll had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  20-17  win over the Flanagan/Woodland Falcons  on Saturday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Thunder.
  Winter Harrington threw for 27 yards  on one of nine attempts.  
 Roger Laborn was his top target, picking up 27 receiving yards.  On the ground, 
 Aden Buchholz made 11 total tackles.
 West Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Flanagan/Woodland, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
 West Carroll will head out on the road to  square off against  Polo  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Polo is on a six-game streak of home wins, West Carroll a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Flanagan/Woodland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
