Basketball Recap: Olmsted Falls Comes Up Short

Olmsted Falls lost against Avon back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Olmsted Falls Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 65-64 to the Avon Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (56), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Olmsted Falls and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Avon, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Olmsted Falls and Orange will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Avon, they will be home for the holidays to greet Fairview at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Fairview knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Avon likes a good challenge.
