After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coral Gables, Mater Brickell Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They breezed past the Westland Hialeah Wildcats to the tune of 69-31. The contest marked the Bulls' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Mater Brickell Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nyann Cano, who posted 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals. Sebastien Rodriguez was another key player, putting up 17 points.

Westland Hialeah's loss came despite strong showings from Elias Pinate Castillo and Angelo Puentes. Pinate Castillo earned 15 points and six boards, while Puentes scored seven points along with ten rebounds and three steals.

Mater Brickell Academy's record now sits at 5-1. As for Westland Hialeah, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
