Softball Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater lost against Johnson Creek back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Whippets fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 10-9.

Sydney Schilt was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Jennifer Gosh was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Whitewater's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Johnson Creek, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

While Whitewater had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
