Softball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry managed to slip by Fowler the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Ramblers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 17-2 to the Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Ramblers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Fowler, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Perry didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-8 loss against Fulton on the 9th. As for Fowler, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-8 victory against DeWitt on the 8th.
