The Graham Steers will head out on the road to face off against the Whitesboro Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Graham ended up a good deal behind Springtown and lost 35-21. The Steers were down 28-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Graham might have lost, but man, Ty Thompson was a machine: he rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also threw for 129 yards on 14 of 34 attempts. Hayden Horn also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 48 points the game before, Whitesboro was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took an 18-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bells.

Despite the defeat, Whitesboro had strong showings from Colt Fagan, who threw for 257 yards and a touchdown, and Brayden Bomar, who picked up 121 receiving yards and a touchdown. With that strong performance, Bomar is now averaging an impressive 107.5 receiving yards per game.

Graham's record is now 1-1. As for Whitesboro, their record now sits at 1-1.
