Soccer Recap: Kenwood Takes a Loss

Kenwood lost against Greenbrier back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. That's two games in a row now that Kenwood have lost by exactly two goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Kaden Dorsey, who's now up to two this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Kenwood and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Greenbrier, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10.

Coming up, Kenwood will challenge Henry County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kenwood's defense better be ready for this one: Henry County have averaged an impressive 3 goals per game this season. As for Greenbrier, they will face off against Pearl-Cohn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenbrier will be up against Pearl-Cohn's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.8 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
