Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson Academy vs. Mitchell

The Jefferson Academy Jaguars will challenge the Mitchell Marauders on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Jefferson Academy is headed into the matchup having not lost since September 25 and will look to keep things rolling. They were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over Eagle Ridge Academy on Tuesday. With Jefferson Academy ahead 4-1 at the half, the match was all but over already.

They hit Eagle Ridge Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Matteo Gagliano (2), Troy Brown (2), and Dylan Bahrenburg.

Meanwhile, Mitchell kept a clean sheet against Alameda last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 10-0 win.

Jefferson Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five matchups. As for Mitchell, their win bumped their record up to 8-5-2.
