Football Game Preview: Red Level Tigers vs. Elba Tigers + How To Watch

Red Level is 0-5 against Elba since October of 2018 but things could change on Friday. Red Level will face off against Elba at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Red Level is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against LaFayette on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Tigers had to suffer through a 56-8 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Elba took a blow against Goshen on Friday, falling 48-21. The Tigers gained 67 more yards on the day, but it was the Eagles that made the best use of them.

Red Level will have to keep a close watch on Tyceson Davis and Reggie Gilbert, a pair of players who had a big impact on Elba's prior game. Davis rushed for 158 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, while Gilbert gained 96 total yards and two touchdowns. Davis is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Elba's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Red Level, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Red Level was taken down by Elba 46-6 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for Red Level, Alvin Henderson (who rushed for 76 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 37 receiving yards) won't be suiting up this time.
