Football Recap: Bellflower Buccaneers vs. Gahr Gladiators
Bellflower fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Gahr on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 13-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gladiators. Having soared to a lofty 33 points in the game before, the Buccaneers couldn't push the score so high this time.
Despite the loss, Bellflower still got an impressive performance from Jade Walker, who picked up 75 receiving yards and one score. An impressive showing, but Walker really ramped things up playing D: she picked up nine sacks and made 11 total tackles.
