While Hooks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-27), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Jefferson Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Hooks' win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Jefferson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Hooks will head out on the road to take on Arkansas at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson, they will square off against Center at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
