Basketball Recap: Pawhuska Drops Season-High Score on Frontier

Pawhuska scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 80-61 to the Frontier Mustangs. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Pawhuska saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Darien West went 10 of 19 on his way to 22 points in addition to five assists and five boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points West has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dax Godsey, who posted 14 points.

Pawhuska's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Frontier, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Pawhuska will take on Tulsa CHEF in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday at. As for Frontier, they will square off against Pawnee at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
