Volleyball Recap: Ridgway Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ridgway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Telluride Miners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Miners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Ridgway was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Ford Fenton, who had eight digs and two aces.

Ridgway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Telluride, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Ridgway will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ignacio at 4:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Telluride, they will take on Mancos at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
