Baseball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nolensville Knights. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-3 loss on Tuesday.

Luke Dennis was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Rocco Cimarosti, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Nolensville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Centennial will welcome Stewarts Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Nolensville, they will venture away from home to take on Blackman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
