Antelope Valley had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Golden Valley Grizzlies, posting a 30-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Antelopes sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row dating back to last season.

Golden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Antelope Valley will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Littlerock at 5:15 p.m. on September 2. As for Golden Valley, they will welcome Vasquez at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The game will give the Grizzlies their first taste of in-conference action this season.
