Soccer Game Preview: Delta vs. Manti

Delta hasn't had much luck against Manti recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Delta will square off against Manti at 6:15 p.m.

Delta is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Juab on Friday. They fell just short of the Wasps by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Manti, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on Juab with a sharp 4-1 victory on Monday. Manti haven't had any issues with Juab recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Manti hit Juab with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Taylor Dettinger, Tommy Bridges, James Dettinger, and Luke Summers.

Manti's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those five matchups. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
