Baseball Recap: West Harrison Takes a Loss

West Harrison lost against Pascagoula back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hurricanes fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 8-7. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carlos Pena was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Dezi Curley was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

West Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Pascagoula, they moved to 9-16 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

While West Harrison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
