Game recap: Woodland Christian High School Football Team wins against Delta

CLARKSBURG, Calif. - the Cardinals scored 34 points in the first quarter to secure a big 50-6 victory over Delta (Clarksburg, Calif.) on Saturday.

Woodland Christian scored on a kick return touchdown by Walker Perry, a Kameron Arnold touchdown run, an Anthony Castaneda touchdown pass to Chase Canevari, a touchdown pass by Castaneda to Arnold and a touchdown run by KJ Barry in the quarter.

After taking the lead on a kick return touchdown by Perry in the first quarter, WC led 41-6 at the half.

The Woodland school grew its lead to 41 points entering the fourth quarter. The Cardinals' lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by Perry.

The Cardinals raced to 34 in the first quarter alone and never looked back.



Delta's lone touchdown came on a 1-yard run in the second quarter.

WC avenged last year's 46-34 loss to the Saints with the victory.
