Basketball Game Preview: King City Wildkats vs. North Harrison Shamrocks

The King City Wildkats are taking a road trip to challenge the North Harrison Shamrocks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Harrison took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on King City, who comes in off a win.

Last Monday, King City humbled North Nodaway with a 45-16 victory. That looming 45-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildkats yet this season.

Meanwhile, North Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 49-33 bruising from Mercer.

King City is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points per game. As for North Harrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Everything came up roses for King City against North Harrison when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 55-7 win.
