Basketball Recap: Colbert County Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Colbert County can now relate to. They fell just short of the Mars Hill Bible Panthers by a score of 56-53 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Indians have suffered since November 16, 2024.

Colbert County's defeat dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Mars Hill Bible, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Colbert County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mars Hill Bible, they will face off against Rogers on Tuesday.
