Basketball Game Preview: Crooksville Ceramics vs. Sheridan Generals

Crooksville is 0-10 against Sheridan since February of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Crooksville Ceramics will head out to challenge the Sheridan Generals at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Crooksville is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against John Glenn on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Crooksville came up short against John Glenn, falling 82-60. While losing is never fun, the Ceramics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 562nd, while the Little Muskies are ranked 75th).

Meanwhile, Sheridan ended up a good deal behind Coshocton on Monday and lost 77-60. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crooksville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Sheridan, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

Crooksville was taken down by Sheridan 75-48 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Crooksville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
