After losing to Tonopah Valley the last time they met, Chino Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cougars walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Phoenix on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Chino Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-10-1. As for Tonopah Valley, they dropped their record down to 10-10-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
