Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hartville walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-48 win over the Norwood Pirates on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

Norwood lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Noah Drake, who posted seven points in addition to six boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton McDaris, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 15 points.

Hartville's win bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Norwood, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 24-3 record.

As of now, neither Hartville nor Norwood have any future games scheduled.
