Volleyball Recap: Twelve Bridges Finds Home Court Redemption Against Placer

There's no place like home for Twelve Bridges, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Placer Hillmen by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 13-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Wyatt Flannery paced Twelve Bridges' offense, picking up 20 kills. Flannery got some help from JP Racela and his 19 assists. Flannery also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Avery Sadler, racking up two apiece.

Twelve Bridges now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Placer, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-9.

Twelve Bridges has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Livermore on the 12th. As for Placer, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Yuba City at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
