Vandegrift has gone a perfect 5-0 against Hutto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vandegrift Vipers will square off against the Hutto Hippos at 7:30 p.m. Vandegrift will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Vandegrift is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Manor on Tuesday as Vandegrift made off with an 8-0 victory. Given the Vipers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Mustangs are ranked 121st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hutto fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Stony Point. That's two games straight that the Hippos have won by just one goal.

Vandegrift pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those seven matches. As for Hutto, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Vandegrift took their victory against Hutto in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vandegrift since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
