Softball Recap: Robinson Find Success

Robinson won against Woodson last Thursday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Rams beat the Alexandria City Titans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-2. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Aleaha Burgy was excellent, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Marina Palazzo was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Robinson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2025.

Robinson's record now sits at 6-3. As for Alexandria City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Robinson has already played their next contest, a 9-4 defeat against James Madison on the 15th. Hopefully Alexandria City paid attention to the Rams' matchup: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
