Recap: Skyline Coyotes vs. Mountain View Toros
The Skyline Coyotes lost against the Mountain View Toros back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Skyline fell to Mountain View 45-39. Skyline has not had much luck with Mountain View recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Skyline had strong showings from Jordan Seiuli, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and four steals, and Isabella Schneider, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Seiuli is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games she's played.
Mountain View's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emma Fischbeck, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. Fischbeck has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Roxy Del Bianco was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five steals.
Skyline has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Mountain View, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7.
Skyline will take on Browne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Browne comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Mountain View, they will be playing at home against Dobson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
