If Horeb Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Marathon, they should've done a better job of containing Jack Chapman. The Marathon Dolphins were the clear victor by a 74-48 margin over the Horeb Christian Mustangs on Thursday thanks in part to Chapman, who went 10 of 15 from beyond the arc on his way to 32 points. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Giorvis Zamora, who posted seven points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aiden Ravelo, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 14 points. Jonathan Gonzalez was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Marathon's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Horeb Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Marathon and Downtown Doral will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Horeb Christian, they and Westland Hialeah will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Horeb Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.9 points per game this season.
