Soccer Recap: Cullman Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Cullman challenged Grissom on Tuesday. The Cullman Bearcats came up short against the Grissom Tigers, falling 4-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cullman fell to 2-1. As for Grissom, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Cullman will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Payne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cullman is facing Fort Payne at the right time seeing as Fort Payne is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Grissom, they will face off against Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Florence's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Grissom's offense will have their work cut out for them.
