Soccer Recap: Oliver Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Oliver Springs was the 9-0 winner over Eagleton College & Career Academy when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals on Tuesday. Oliver Springs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Kylee Moss, who's now up to 13 this season.

Oliver Springs' defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-5. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oliver Springs will square off against Oneida at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they will challenge Rockwood at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eagleton College & Career Academy will be up against Rockwood's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
