Basketball Recap: John Cosby Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Edgewood Academy

Valiant Cross Academy won the last time they faced Edgewood Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 67-58. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Valiant Cross Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Cosby, who posted 22 points. Cosby's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 22 points. Another player making a difference was James Cosby, who scored 17 points.

Valiant Cross Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Edgewood Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Valiant Cross Academy will take on Oaks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edgewood Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Abbeville Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
