Softball Recap: Maine East Blue Demons vs. Northtown Pumas
Maine East came into Monday's contest having lost 14 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Northtown Pumas 16-7 on Monday. The Blue Demons' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last nine games.

Emma Asien was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
