Pikes Peak Christian waltzed into their match on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles 3-0. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pikes Peak Christian took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-14.

Annaliece Fisher paced Pikes Peak Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Fisher got some help from Savannah Heath and her 22 assists. Megan Ferguson controlled things from the service line, finishing with 12 aces.

Pikes Peak Christian's record is now 15-2. As for Liberty Tree Academy, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Pikes Peak Christian will face off against The Colorado Springs School at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Liberty Tree Academy, they will challenge Calhan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
