North Bend was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-46 heartbreaker at the hands of the Junction City Tigers. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 60-52 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
North Bend lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Issiah Dibella, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Conner Johnson, who put up seven points in addition to seven assists and five boards.
North Bend's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Junction City, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
