Softball Recap: Lockport Porters vs. Minooka Indians
Lockport won the last time they faced Minooka and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Porters came out on top against the Indians by a score of 5-1.

Kelcie McGraw spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Taylor Lane was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. Olivia Picciola also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
Lockport's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Minooka, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lockport will head out to take on Providence Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minooka, they will venture away from home to challenge Lincoln-Way East at 4:30 p.m. on the 10th.
