Basketball Recap: Pineywoods Community Academy Skates Past Hemphill with Ease

There's no place like home for Pineywoods Community Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Hemphill Hornets 58-24 on Monday. The game marked the Timberwolves' most dominant win of the season so far.

Pineywoods Community Academy found their leader in sophomore Gunner Carnes, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 15 points in addition to eight assists and four steals. Carnes also set a new season-high mark in shooting accuracy with 70%. Another player making a difference was Myles Simmons, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.
