Mission Valley has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Bennington Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bennington took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mission Valley, who comes in off a win.
Mission Valley put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past Kansas City East Christian Academy 60-23 at home. The victory was just what Mission Valley needed coming off of a 44-11 defeat in their prior matchup.
Mission Valley found their leader in underclassman Taylor Brammell, who scored 17 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brammell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillie Foster, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Bennington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Inman.
Mission Valley's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Bennington, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
