Lakewood entered their tilt with Normandy on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Invaders with a sharp 3-0 win. The game was the first time the Rangers have beaten the Invaders on their court since September 15, 2022.

The victory didn't come easy: Normandy scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 26-23.

Ariana Hueter paced Lakewood's offense, picking up 18 kills. Hueter got some help from Aliyah Plicka and her 18 assists.

Lakewood's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Normandy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Lakewood will head out on the road to take on Valley Forge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Normandy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Buckeye on the 9th.
