Baseball Game Preview: Harrison Raiders vs. Tri-West Hendricks Bruins

The Harrison Raiders will face off against the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Harrison has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Tri-West Hendricks will arrive with six straight wins.

Harrison is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Westfield, who was ranked 21st at the time (Harrison was ranked 13th). The Raiders fell 5-0 to the Shamrocks on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Tri-West Hendricks had just enough and edged out Frankfort 2-1 on Wednesday.

Luke Haboush looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Tri-West Hendricks' victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cole Keller, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Tri-West Hendricks' win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.
