Basketball Game Preview: Grace Prep Lions vs. Legacy Christian Academy Eagles

The Grace Prep Lions will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Legacy Christian Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Grace Prep's favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Legacy Christian Academy has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

On Saturday, Grace Prep earned a 55-45 victory over Centennial. Give the Lions' offense some serious credit: that high-scoring performance was actually the fewest points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Legacy Christian Academy). They blew past Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool, posting a 78-26 win.

The victory got Legacy Christian Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Grace Prep, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Grace Prep skirted past Legacy Christian Academy 64-61 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
