Soccer Recap: Gloucester County Christian Comes Up Short

Gloucester County Christian was the 2-0 winner over Atlantic Christian when they last played one another on October 7th, but their luck changed this time around. The Conquerors fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that Gloucester County Christian have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Elise Pilla, who's now up to two this season.

Gloucester County Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-2. As for Atlantic Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Gloucester County Christian is taking a road trip to square off against Veritas Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Veritas Christian Academy's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Atlantic Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
