The Lick-Wilmerding Tigers will take on The Bay School Breakers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
The Bay School will be up against a hot Lick-Wilmerding squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Lick-Wilmerding put the hurt on Burton with a sharp 19-12 win on Monday.

Lick-Wilmerding let Aidan Baird and Marley Hammons run wild. Baird went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Hammons went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three hits gave Hammons a new career-high. Benji Cho was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances.
They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Lick-Wilmerding kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Burton only managed seven hits.
Meanwhile, everything went The Bay School's way against Technology on Friday as The Bay School made off with a 19-2 victory. The Breakers have beaten the Titans the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Titans has come to flipping the script.
Jasper Cook and Nate Won made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Cook struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Won pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time he hasn't allowed a single hit since back in March of 2024. At the plate, Cook went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double, while Won scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Alec Rabb and Nick Patarroyo did most of the damage at the plate: Rabb scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Patarroyo scored four runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Terje Steele, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run.
Lick-Wilmerding's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for The Bay School, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Lick-Wilmerding suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to The Bay School in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Lick-Wilmerding avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
