Smoky Hill extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Ari Boyd. The Buffaloes strolled past the Grand Junction Tigers with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 53-39 thanks in part to Boyd, who almost dropped a double-double with 30 points and nine steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Smoky Hill's points.

Grand Junction's loss came despite strong showings from Kendra Tooker and Harper Young. Tooker almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds, while Young posted eight points and nine boards. Makinna Young was another key player, putting up six points.

Smoky Hill's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Grand Junction, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Smoky Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 73-55 defeat against Standley Lake on the 9th. As for Grand Junction, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-48 loss against Chaparral on the 11th.
