Volleyball Recap: Gerstell Academy Wins Going Away Against Glenelg Country

Gerstell Academy made easy work of the Glenelg Country Dragons on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Gerstell Academy.

Gerstell Academy was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-12.

Despite the loss, Glenelg Country saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eva Smith had eight digs and two aces.

Gerstell Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Glenelg Country, they moved to 7-4 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-match winning streak.

Gerstell Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glenelg Country, they will square off against John Carroll at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
